few things to check fuel lines are connected properly one may have gotton losse offf or pinched then make sure the blades are in off position some its a lever or a pull/push switch and battery may have gone dead or distributor to spark or plugs

I am no expert in this make of car that you have. Just an opinion thoughThe battery light is usually on the dash to tell us (when it comes on red) that the current flows from our battery to the alternator so we need to check our alternator for damage. First time I hear about a green battery light but I suppose its there to turn red when it should while until then it remains green to tell you that everything charges as it should.Use a volt meter and take a measurement on the battery at idle. you should read 14V +/- 0.5V and that remains at that range even with your high beam headlights on at idle. That means that your battery is charging OK. I hope that helps :)

As far as any engine manuals. The engine type model and series are stamped into the air shroud not far from the spark plug wire. http://www.briggsandstratton.com Type in your engine model type series and you can download you parts and engine manual.
