have you tried running a load or even running with out cloths and using lots of bleach? that should kill any mold spores. Then keep the door open when not in use so mold can't grow again.

Try using Affresh washer tablets. This kills the smell in front load washer. You can order this online or at a local parts store. Works great. I use it on all the front load washers that i sell in my store.
Hi Jewel, You may want to try some Washer Magic, or similar product specifically designed to clean out washing machines. I personally use Affresh in my front loader and it works very well.
I have a front load washing machine too and my instruction booklet says to run it on the clean cycle once a month with the bleach up to the max. I do this every month with out fail. I also the last load of laundry I leave the door ajar. It will usually dry completly in a few hours. Hope this helps

When your water does not drain, check the outlet filter first, then the pipe from below the tub to the filter. Your washer wont spin 'cause the pump/filter is blocked.
