I"m guessing it's the TV, chances are it would loose sound as well if it was the streaming service. Are your backlights staying on when the screen goes black?
Usually kids tv's in bedrooms collect more dust than downstairs.
The laser probably needs cleaning with a special disc or stripping down and doing properly
Well, it may be you need a new TV, or, wherever you got the TV contact them and ask them if it has happened before, and if it has, what did they do to fix it. If it hasn't.. if theres a RESET button on it, try that. RESET buttons on TV's aren't that common. Try unplugging it and plugging it back in. There may be a short in the wire.
try partstore.com google disney cars tv replacement parts and it is one of the generic links on the right side of the screen. It looks like all they hve is replacement remotes, feet, speakers, and headphones for said tv/dvd.
Philips Magnavox makes the remote. Not sure about the model #, but you can get to the audio/video or DVD by scrolling through using the channel buttons on the unit itself. I have also been successful with a universal remote with the exception the channel up and down would not fuction correctly, but direct entry did, as well as the source select. Hope this helps.
