If it is Windows login admin password it wants, just reinstall Windows.

turn it on and hold down the delete button until you get the bios up move across until you get after the boot tab and enter that scroll around using the up/down sideways buttons ( keypad will not be working) find password and turn off
if that is not it then it has a user account password that you will have to delete /edit
just try ignoring the request and enter again as it may not really need a password at all

hello . fixya appreciate to get some helpe here ... i got a lap of toshiba the model is satellite c655 . and recently i surprised that the speakers export crakcling sound .. . but as i remind that wasn't occur until i restore my lap of the origin windows 7 virsion ...in while i try to fix the problem i changed the sound driver lots but did'nt make make any sense ... how could i fix that problem and thanks for effort .

There is no way to know the PIN that was inputted. In order to get around this you must reload the operating system with the recovery disks.

you will need the windows restore disc to do a complete restore.
some models you can press F11 to use the built in restore feature,

It seems that a bios password keeps you locked out. Try entering the bios (del or F2 during the boot) and get back to defaults or reset the password.

the password is for windows or for bios and if for windows any virsion of windows you use
