Why doesn't the motorola P4000 not hold a charge after charging it for several hours

My Motorola T-215 was not charging. It would light up when I plugged it in but would not hold a charge long. I placed the whole unit in the freezer for 4 maybe 5 hours. I plugged it in and the unit is charging and working again. Thank you Jesus.

Nuvi 1350 charges in 4 to 8 hours. If your Nuvi is not accepting a charge, you may have a loose or bad USB cable. Note that the Nuvi can be charged with a phone charger. Charging it with a connection to a computer moves charging time toward 8 hours and more towards infinity if you don't have the driver installed on the computer. Turn the Garmin off. If the driver ins installed in the coputer, plug the Garmin into the computer and then hold down the power button on the Garmin for 30 seconds.

Get a recharge cord for the unit, plug it in and recharge.

Plug it in and let it charge for 1 hour then unplug and hold power down for 120 seconds with down volume. Then power up as normal.

Once fully charged, it will last for about 4 hours, if it is used without shutting down. The good thing is that it comes with a rechargeable lithium ion battery. That can be recharged once it is weak. I will strongly advice that you do not allow the battery run down completely before recharging as the battery might become weak and unable to hold a charge. So do not let your gps die before recharging. you can charge once it is low.

No, the charger is only usable to charge the rechargeable NiMH or Li-Ion battery which comes with the radio. Attempting to charge Alkaline rechargeable batteries with this charger could cause the to expode. If your charger is not charging the batteries which came with the units, it could be you do not have the charger cord end plugged in all the way, or the batteries dropped below the initial charge level by setting on a store shelf too long. Most TalkAbouts come with a cradle style charger to hold the radio, and a possible plug to plug into the charge hole. Check all connections, and clean any battery/charger contacts with a pencil eraser. To re-initialize the batteries you would need to attempt 3-5 charge cycles by charging for 8-10 hours, then letting the battery rest for 8-10 hours, repeating 3-5 times as needed. The Transport T2300 has an internal battery that will run the laptop for several minutes after the main battery goes dead. This feature allows you to save your work and shut down safely. If you run the laptop until both batteries are dead, even a brand new battery can't start the unit again. You have to follow this procedure:
1.Unplug power cord

2. Remove any attached periphal components including the cd rom and/or floppy disk module if you have one. Both remove with a push button switch located on the bottom of the unit.

3. Plug in power cord and charge the unit for a minimum of 24 hours straight. 30 hours is better. This whole time will be spent slowly recharging the internal back up battery.

4. Once that is done, unplug power cord again and reinstall any floppy/cd drives. Plug power cord back in now and charge for at least 24 hours again.

If your backup battery is dead, you can't charge the main battery or turn the unit on. The longer you charge, the better. We had one unit here that had to be on the initial battery backup for 72 hours before it finally took hold. Then, one overnight recharge on the regular battery and all was well.

Their website says only 6 hours of talk time for that battery. Could be that's all your gonna get from it. Every phone I've ever owned has needed to be recharged every other day and sooner if it's used more.

the steady red light showing when in charger shows that
it is charging. the blinking red light when taken out of
charger or turned on and off means it is not fully charged.
leave it in charger till red light turns green.

I think the normal talk time is around 6 to 8 hrs if your battery is holding less you probably have a unit with a faulty battery
how old is your headset
