I have a problem with a fisher and paykel MW512AU washing machine. I turned the machine on as normal, start the load, and everything was fine. After roughly 10 minutes the machine stops doing anything, begins to beep and flashes both the hot water and cold water light simultaneously. It seems when I tried turning the machine on again when the water is filling the barrel its is very slow, and also the motor is spinning the barrel very slowly. I'm not 100 percent sure but I don't think this used to happen. Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you Chirs

Sounds like a bad circuit. This is a complex repair, I suggest calling a appliance repair service

take it apart-something has let go in the tub suspension department-springs or bearing-tear it down and it will become apparent-cheers Denny

The damper suspension rods and bands are worn and need replacing.

Display board is not plugged in or faulty.

Check the filters on the ends of the water hoses that connect to the machine, sounds like they are blocked

If it is a musical rippling sound & hot & cold lights are flashing that usually indicates it is not getting water quickly enough. You can open the lid while it is filling & look. If water is just trickling in and taps are fully open then replace the inlet valve with a new one.

I have a problem with my MW512AU. Sometimes it drains after wash cycle, but sometimes it sticks when it goes to spin, doesn't get up to speed, water comes on for about 10 seconds and shuts off, and it tries to spin again. If I hit the wash progress switch it goes directly to final spin and works ok. I then have to run a 2nd wash cycle to rinse the clothes. I also noticed a buzzing sound when I turn on the power point, which lasts about 3 seconds before stopping. It will come back on every 3-4 minutes for 30 seconds. This is with the machine power switch off. It powers on normally.

quite likely the motor controller has died, which is situated underneath the control panel.
