Question about Amazon Kindle Fire HD
Held power button for 40 seconds and then powered up again
To turn off the Kindle Fire HD completely, hold the power button down for 2-3 seconds and release. A "Shut Down" button will appear (opposite "Cancel"). Touch that button. Allow the unit to cycle off completely. Wait one minute, then power up again. Your functionality should be restored.

Testimonial: "Contacted Amazon tech support and found out the problem was after using the Kindle for 4 days using a 1 finger swipe, I'm now required to use 2 fingers to swipe which isn't a problem for most of my apps but makes playing many of my game apps impossible as my F*CKING fingers aren't the size of a 5 YO. Thanks for the suggestion"
