Hello My Hyundai TV's display is breaked... the whole display is breaked in two..in the bottom part no display and only rainbow colour lines..and on the upper part the picture is coming but the colours are not perfect... i want to know the approximate problem and the price to fix it..If any one can help me...Please help... Also on my another TV When I power on the TV the red light becomes green then again red and TV is not switched on...i want to know the problems in both the cases and approximate price to fix it.... I have had this problem in some models of plasma sets before. In most cases the power supply and main drive boards had to be replaced. In a small number of cases the failure was the screen itself.

In all cases, the cost of the repair was expensive. For the screen failure, the set was scrapped.

It is the Main A/V board that is faulty, not the power supply. The rainbow screen that you are seeing and the searching for signal message before it shuts off confirms this. It is the large board at the center of the tv. If you can get me the part number off it, I can find you the replacement. It will be either printed on the board itself or on a small label.
