Sounds like you need more ram or computer space. You didn't list what time of mixer or computer so can only answer basicly. If using a computer (which it sounds like) see how much the mixer needs andhow much space available on your hard drive. This is called a latency problem. Basicaly how long does it take for the computer to respond to commands while it is doing a task. either get a bigger hard drive and more ram or clear out some files on your computer. You can also go into settings and change the settings. You'll have to look through the manual on latency problems.
If the green screen on your Zoom H4 recorder is not displaying any lettering, it could be due to a few different issues. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
Make sure the contrast setting on the device is adjusted properly. If the contrast is too low, it could cause the lettering to be difficult to see. Try adjusting the contrast using the device settings.
Check the battery level. If the battery is low, it could cause the device to function improperly, including the screen not displaying properly. Try charging or replacing the battery.
Reset the device to its factory settings. This will erase any custom settings and configurations you may have set up, but it can sometimes help to resolve any software issues. To do this, hold down the "+" and "-" buttons at the same time while turning the device on.
If none of the above solutions work, there may be a hardware issue with the device's screen or internal components. In this case, it's best to contact Zoom support or bring the device to a repair professional.
Look at the setups for voice and audio in the Windows control panel, "Sounds and Devices". Make sure the devices are set to the sources and destinations you want... This is not automatic and is a pain when you are going back and forth from recording and playing...
Probably the sound and devices settings in Windows control panel have been clobbered back to the computer audio instead of the Lexicon. Check the device defaults in "Audio" and "voice" tabs in the "sound and devices" in the Windows control panel.
Check that in the control panel of Windows, "Sounds and devices" your interface is the default device in each of the panels under the tabs such as "Voice" and the others.
1. right click the speaker in the lower right corner and select adjust audio properties.
2. Select the audio tab
3. Pull the drop down menu under sound recording and make sure it is selected to your audio driver device. Most are either soundmax, creative(for soundblaster and audigy standalone cards), realtek, or ASUS.
4. Next repeat step one but select open volume control
5. Go to options and then properties
6. Select the circle for recording and make sure your mic input is checked.
7. Close that window and recording mixers will pop up. Select the input you need by checking the box in the lower left corner of the mixer channel. Adjust the level and then use your recording program or sound recorder under Program files>accesories>communication>sound recorder.
Troubleshoot. Try different cables, mics, instruments, etc to make sure that its the device and not something else.
Make sure you don't have any digital effects (compressors, guitar effect simulators, etc) activited.
See if there's a way to restore the device back to factory settings. Make sure you backup your recordings first.
Chances are you need a driver in your PC compatible with Vista. There are MANY compatibility problems with Vista and special devices such as the Micro Br.
