Unit will spin in wash cycle but not in the rinse cycle.
Because you have e too much soap and froth in the machine. The level sensor thinks is is still not full of water make sure that you don't over soap the machine and clearly ensure a filter is not blocked in the pump trap down the borrow of the front panel under the little door opening. Open this up and clear all obstacles . Good luck.
SOURCE: Bosch Axxis front loader will not drain
check filter. check no foreign objects fouling pump impellor - bra wires are the favourite
SOURCE: front loading washer does not advance past the rince cycle
Check and clean filter, it is usually located behind a plastic panel at the bottom front of the washer, remove cover and unscrew the filter cover anti clockwise, pull out and clean, replace and test, if it still does not drain, then possibly pump blocked or faulty.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

I just had the same problem last week Aug 1 2009

If you hear no motor spinning when it should then it's something
with the motor. If you hear motor spinning, esp spin cycle, but
the drum doesn't spin, then probably broken belt ($30 part).
Since I work on cars (this is very much like an alternator+belt) and wanted to avoid a $100 service call (just to come to house) and
at least try for a quick fix before buying a new washer, I opened the back, confirmed belt looked ok, so tried
replacing the brushes in the motor, and it worked.
For a good description on how to do this see

I took some pics, and time permitting will post more details
to this dossy site to help fellow owners.
I purchased the brushes at partstap.com for $50 (incl tax+ship)

Possibly a blocked filter or pump.
Ths filter should be at the bottom right front of washer, sometimes behind a removeable cover at the bottom of washer.
To clean it, unscrew anti-clockwise, remove and clean.
Hello Dorothy - Does the drain pump make a humming noise? If so, there may be a restriction in the drain line or siphoning. Otherwise since it is such a complex unit I would recommend contacting a professional to have either the pump or timer diagnose.
