The beep codes below may help you identify the possible computer problems. However, they are
only for reference purposes. The situations might differ from case to case.

1 short: System boots successfully
2 short: CMOS setting error
1 long 1 short: DRAM or M/B error
1 long 2 short: Monitor or display card error
1 long 3 short: Keyboard error
1 long 9 short: BIOS ROM error
Continuous long beeps: DRAM error
Continuous short beeps: Power error
If its a desktop computer, those are probably beep codes for trouble shooting, count them ,go to your computers web site for the code definitions,i would unplug it first ,discharge any static, open the side panel, carefully remove the ram sticks one at a time wipe them off and reset them, its the most common problem, sometimes just taking them out and putting them back in fixes it,if you dont know what ram sticks are or your computer is still under warranty ,disregard this and call a tech.
This happens mostly due to memory (RAM) not getting detected by the system, To resolve this issue remove and again insert the memory (RAM) into the slots firmly, Also check if any of the wires is touching/blocking the fan on the processor heatsink.
Depending on the number of beeps and any pattern of long and short tones, you may have a problem with your memory or video card. You can open up the case, remove and reseat the memory and video card and try restarting the system again to see if it clears the problem.
