If the driver is Win7 compatible;

Always get your drivers and specific software from the manufacturer of your Laptop, Notebook or Desktop.

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, usually one is able to download if available, by model number, All available Driver downloads as required.

If the driver is not available, perhaps your manufacturer does not support the OS you are installing.

This is the best way of ensuring up to date drivers for your system and they are free of charge!
Check for Win7 compatibility!

TATA Indicom's installation was pretty easy as they provide the modem
drives for mac. But the guys from Indicom may try hard to convince you
that Plug2Surf does not work and mac and you need their dialer to
connect to the internet.

1. Download the Mac Drivers for Qualcomm CDMA MSM modem.
2. The zip file you downloaded has to be unzipped. You'll see two
files inside, one for the Newer Intel x86 Macs and other one for the
Older PowerPC Macs. Open the appropriate installation (.pkg) file.
(Note : Unplug the device before opening the file.)
3. Click Continue.
4. In the next window, "Continue" after the reading the license and
then click "Install" .
6. Now open System Preferences > Network. You'll see "Qualcomm CDMA
Technologies MSM" on the left side bar (or it pops up a window, that
it has found it). Click on it.
7. Type Telephone No #777 , Account Name and Password both internet.
8. Click on "Advanced" > Select Vendor : Generic and Modem : Dialup
Device. Click "OK"
9. Your Done! The "Connect" button should be clickable now and will
connect to the Indicom service once clicked.

the usb modem you are using is compatible with windows vista but for that u need to install the driver software ie sxc 1080 vista dialer 32 bits . you can download this software from the tataindicom site which is www.tataindicom.com. windows 98 and vista have different software compatibility.

I'll recommend you to directly try Driver Detective and let the software have a free scan to automatically detect & update the missing drivers. This way things can be much easier & efficient. Also you don't have to risk install wrong drivers which might cause severe system issues.

i want cdma 1x usb modem driver.

I faced the same problem i installed it. But got through it. See if this works for you too:

1. You have to install the software you downloaded from the tata site or from the CD you got with the MODEM. Do this without attaching the MODEM to the laptop.

2. Once done, insert the MODEM into the USB drive. The Windows will automatically search drivers for USB MODEM and QualCoMM drivers and install it.

After it shows the success message, click the Tata Indicom Dialer and check. The problem should not appear again.
