Ok, not really sure if this will help.
Right mouse click the Sims 3 icon and choose properties at the bottom. Then choose the Compatibility tab and at the bottom, check the button: Run this program as Administrator.

I assume that you are talking about the samsung galaxy note 3 which use a micro-sim and support 2g, 3g and 4g network: if you are getting 'no service' it means that your note 3 cannot 'register' itself to the AT&T provider: try using this specific sim with another mobile from the same location and if it works then it is most likely a configuration issue with the note 3 (e.g. you must select the correct 2g or 3g or 4g network to connect).
If your sim does not work with another mobile phone, then the SIM is probably not activated and will not register/will have no service: call AT&T help desk to get the SIM/number activated.
ps. you can always take your Note 3 to an AT&T dealer and ask them to help you set your device for free (but ask first!).

Hi, What OS are you running? win 7 , XP? If win 7 right and give admin rights.

I had a similar problem but seems that Sims 3 needs a good graphics card. I was using my onboard graphics. I put in a graphics card that I had, 1 gig Geforce 9800. Now sims 3 is working great. I hope this helps

ok sims 3 high end loft is an expansion so to make it work you need to have already installed the sims 3. so first install sims 3, then sims 3 high end loft.

the phone is not unlocked then 3 have the technology that you can only use a 3sim in a 3 phone

tell the store you bought from that your wife through out and they probably give a new sims 3 case and game
