SOURCE: pay tv reception

more on the above. the card for aurora was faulty and it works now.
secondly i found out that austar has programmed out my big dish as well as the humax box.
and i was paying austar for this service in the first place.
(and still do.)
have to now get a second austar box and dish to recover things.

i understand thousands of humax and other boxes and dishes have been sidelined in this move.

SOURCE: I cannot get my sons

Without an image of the back of the tv to verify that you have everything plugged in correctly, the best i can do is to tell you to make sure you have the right imput selected, on your tv remote there should be a button labeled input, pressing it will cycle through the available options until you see the signal from the ps3
hope this was helpful

My HUMAX free-view set top box seems to crash after it's been on for about thee hours, then reboots it's self in about four minutes. any ideas?

This device has a fan that will turn on when the temperature of the internal hard drive reaches a certain level. The problem may be due to a faulty sensor, fan or both. here's a forum for this hardware that may be of help: http://hummy.tv/forum/forums/hdr-fox-t2-freeview-recorder.13/

Blu-ray player wi-fi ready vs. wi-fi built-in

Blu-ray players are getting more internet capable and any player made 2010 or later is probably going to have wi-fi or wireless internet connectivity. However not all players are the same. Some Blu-ray players are wi-fi ready while others are wi-fi built-in. What's the difference? Wi-Fi ready players need an extra part called a dongle or adapter stick to make them work with your wireless router and not just any adapter, typically only the one the player's manufacturer offers. Usually this will cost you an extra $80. But Wi-Fi built-in players already have the adapter in them and are ready to go without adding a part. Be sure to check if the player is Wi-Fi built-in, as this is what you want for wireless connectivity.

Accessing Facebook needs internet connection. Without any active connection, you will not be able to connect to internet.
Internet connection option for such devices:
Mobile phone:1. GPRS - settings will be coming from your mobile service provider, data rates will be deducted from your load credits.2. Wi-fi connection - needs active wireless connection from your modem/router/gateway. Charges will be applied via ISP 9internet service provider)

I'v got problem with my asus k42jr. When I'm near the wi-fi router, all is going ok, but when I'm in another room, my laptop can't establish connection, in spite of showing good signal. My mobile phone...

Have a look but the aerial connections may be disconnected on the WiFi board. If not the WiFi board may be low gain and unable to pick up a good signal.

Can I attach a Wi-Fi router to the back of my Humax Fox HDR T2 to recieve TV from my router on my main computer

No, it's the other way round.

"Plugged into a router or a wireless bridge, the box's network setup is fast and easy. For now it's just used for streaming content from your network to your telly, but there's a button on the remote marked TV Portal which hints at things to come - this box will be able to deliver on-demand and catch-up content, including Sky's online service." - quoted from the link below

Humax 8000T not used for a while, now says ''no or bad signal'' and says no channels available when it searches.I tried resetting to default settings but still no joy. When I checked signal status it says...

sig strength 29 is too low to lock onto. Humax needs 50+ to lock ideally 65+

is the aerial ok? try the set on someone elses aerial. If no joy then its possible the tuner is duff...but thats virtually unheard of.

Bluetooth connection to desktop?

No, PC internet connection is not shared with N800.
The only way to connect to the internet without a wifi signal is to pair your N800 with your cellphone (if it's GPRS and bluetooth capable) and share the GPRS connection.
You can do it with the connection manager of your N800
