there are a variety of causes for this. any one of the safety systems may have detected a fault and thus wont let the heater run. if there is no electricity, the heater wont run. if there is insufficient water flow, the heater wont run.

Heater wont stay lit unless cover is off. heater is dynaglo 12500

it souds like it is starveing for air, I would check all of the filters and the air line that runs to the combustion nozzle as it may have a crack or break in it. The nozzle does tend to get pretty hot and the lines get brittle after a while.

your photo cell is bad or dirty its a little lens that looks threw the hole into the cumbustion chamber with two wires coming out of it.

I have a hayward H250 dual electronic gas pool heater...11/2 years old..all of a sudden it wont work...i have checked all electrical connects, breakers, and electric lines...all are ok...nothing...

Check the connections to the transformer. Inside the front top cover Makesure power is off when doing this

It is lickly that when you put the top on that the top is creating a ground (completing the circuit) which means there is no spark created

Master 115,000 will not stay running

It sounds as if your are having a fuel delivery issue. Always start troubleshooting fuel delivery problems with a pump pressure test. Air pump pressure is extremely critical on these computerized heaters. Instructions are at www.reddyparts,.com
