Did you open the water tap complete? When it is open all the way already, please close the tap complete and remove the hose and check the filter closest to the tap. Eventually clean it and put the hose back. Don't forget to open the tap again and check you did tighten the hose. (No leakage)

I have a Daewoo dryer it smells like smoke yesterday like something is burning help

Have you cleaned-out the filters & do you regularly clear them.
All dryers have some kind of heating element in them & if the filters aren't cleaned after every session,
or if the dryer is in a confined space & it can suck-in it's own 'exhaust' air, dust & fluff will get into the machines internal workings & can settle on the heating element.
If you are able, remove any access-panels & use a vacuum cleaner to suck-up the accumulated dust & fluff.
If you are not able to do this yourself, get an engineer to service the machine
& then be wise enough to not let it happen again, by cleaning the filter after every use.
Best of luck.

Fluff on clothes

Some washing machines have a filter usually bottom right hand corner, you can clean this out.

They do say every once in a while to run the machine empty on a boil wash and add a little bleach or try some of these commercialised cleaners that remove limescale etc it cant do any harm.

Do this once or twice if its still bad the only thing i would suggest is to get a new one.

Does this machine have a fluff filter? Ive never had a washer dryer before. Always had a fluff filter in my dryer

I've never heard of a fluff filter but I know it has a lint screen that needs to be cleaned at least every 3rd load or so for peak performance.

Candy GOC 590C flashes 'clean filter' . I have cleaned filter but after a few minutes it starts flasing again. Where do I need to look?

on these dryers there should be a thermostat where the lint filter goes, you should be able to feel a metal circle when you put your hand down, ensure its not covered in fluff or scaled up with debris etc, if all ok, will need to check continuity on the thermostat which requires stripping the appliance down

Lg clothescare dryer dlec733w

There is usually a sensor beyond the fluff filter that cuts in if over heating which can clog up with finer particles of fluff that evade the filter and give the impression of overheating, that is what is likely to be the reason. It is a job that needs a technician as it requires some dis-assembly.

Drier will keep stopping mid cycle with a filter led coming on...even though the filter is cleaned.

Experience shows that a fair percentage of fluff actually enters the body of the drier, and obstructs airflow. This causes the heater element to exceed safe temperatures, and a 'Filter' warning occurs.

Unplug the appliance, remove the rear cover, and remove what fluff you can, using a clean paintbrush to reach behind certain cover plates (etc.).
This should solve the problem.

Locating fluff filter on aeg washer/dryer . After using the dryer facility the following wash resulted in garment containing patched of fluff .presumably from previous drying task.Is there a fluff filter...

I have the same problem with mine. There isn't a fluff filter that you can get to easily. When the engineer came to fix something else he showed me this big tube thing inside the machine that had the inside coated with fluff. The machine wasn't very old and I only use the dryer for underwear (apparently towels make it much worse). So ... you'll have to get someone to dismantle the machine to get to the fluff. I was wondering if it is covered by the guarantee because it is ruining my washing.

I cleaned out the fluff filter on my Miele W1918 and now the water is draining out the bottom. There is a small drain hose to the left of the filter that the water is flowing out of . Any ideas

the fluff filter just needs hand tightening up a bit more to stop the leak. if not there could be a bit of fluff trapped between the seals. Remove it again and have another look. Make sure also you don't cross thread the fluff flter which makes it feel like it is screwed in properly when it isn't
