Where do i look to see my ebay bucks - Miscellaneous

Ebay has factory service manual cd, 11 or 12 bucks for your vehicle.
I've had good and bad experiences with ebay. Would I use ebay again, yes.

When you are logged into your ebay account, hover over the "My eBay" tab. A little window should appear/drop down from the "My Ebay" tab and at the bottom of the window, it will show your eBay Bucks balance.

ifixit.com has instructions on how to replace it. You can buy parts there too. You can look up part number and search ebay for a better price and still use ifixit.com for how to replace it.


You can also get an external optical drive that runs on mac or pc for like 15-150 bucks off ebay. Comes in an enclosure and has a usb cable. Apple sells them too for like 79 bucks I think.

something that old your first goal is to locate a serviceable used unit, the whole cluster not just the speedo, via eBay or a junkyard. less than 50 bucks, but there is no warranty.
once located you look for a video on youtube of someone pulling the cluster, or buy a repair manual for a few bucks on eBay. watch someone do it or follow the instructions.
you may want to try that in reverse as the thing is only worth 500 bucks and will not be worth another cent with a working speedo. if it is too much work for you, then most likely you will not want a used speedo laying around.

You can buy illustrated parts breakdown for all saturns for about 2 bucks on ebay, you can buy a service manual on CD on ebay for about 10 bucks. you can go to getsaturnparts.net and search for the part by description.

you can mess around and try to fix it but on those old machines its really not worth it(I own 5 of these).Might I suggest the Armada M700 or the E500--e500 is what im on now and it runs better than a brand new dell or compaq)you might get a new screen on ebay for about 40 bucks. It might be a better idea to buy a new one and save the parts from your old one. You can get a new one for 70 bucks on ebay.
