My Samsung LED TV 55" (model un55eh6050f) shows 2 horizontal lines (about half inch each) with distorted image on the top of screen. By Samsung advice, I tightened all connections of the cable and esp., hdmi. They were fixed.
Not good. You may have a tab failure. A repair shop may be able to diagnose and repair this, but most likely the lcd panel is broken. The panel is the most expensive part of flat tv's. A new panel will cost more than a used tv.
