White light beside camera lens will not turn off

Hi Norhid. There may be no problem at all. If your camera body is in shutter priority and your lense's aperture ring is turned to any setting besides its widest, the body and lense will not synch. See if you can find an orange aperture setting on your lense's ring, and a white dot on the lense alongside the aperture ring. Mount your 18-135 and line up the orange aperture number with the white dot and see if everything works. If that doesn't help, try switching the exposure modes you're shooting in. Hope this helps.

see if the lens is zooming in & out. If not check for broken pcb or lens assy.

time for a replacement camera...as the repair wouldn't be to expensive to consider.  Use your wrist strap

dropping the camera might have caused damage to your LCD screen, best advise I could give is to send it in for repair

check if you can still view old pictures or if the on screen displays are visible, it will narrow down if the problem is with the lens or the screen

Put the lens on and try clicking on Manual mode with manual Focus

you can try a reset of the phone or take it in to the service center and have it check to see if it is an internal problem

1. Upon startup lens emerges but when screen appears it is white whereas it normally displays whatever the lens sees. When the shutter button is pressed the camera will focus and take a white picture which can be deleted. The camera does not flash although flash is set to automatic and photo taken in a dark room. Camera flashes (weakly) with flash set to manual on. Lens is unobstructed and appears to be perfectly normal. Camera was not dropped. Batteries have been changed.

OK. I think you should replaced damaged camera LCD. And you should take care of camera lens.

I had the same error- I tried wacking it against my leg- and now it works again!!! thank you!

Turn the camara off and lightly tap on the front about 10 times the white screen will go away just tried it on mine a couple of min ago and it worked. don;t know about lens
