If you can, just plug your printer to the MAC and turn on the printer, then when you power up the MAC it will recognize the printer and should supply the necessary driver for the printer.

That PCI soft V92 modem is from 2005 - what version of Windows are you using? Have you checked that is suitable for HP 1400 printer? If so, I would officially un-install yout Epson printer, re-boot and re-install your HP 1400
