There are different sizes depending on whether the OptiPlex is a mini-tower or small form factor case. Also - you would need drivers for the modem that are compatible with the operating system you have installed on the computer.

Because you are unable to format or delete the partition then I'm afraid that this is a strong indication that you need to replace the hard drive, this is probably due to bad sectors and clusters that the drive cannot read or write to.

You need to not only set the sata option to ata but you need to use the F6 optioin and use the raid/sata driver provided by dell. it is a pain but this should fix your problem....after a successful install go into device manager and reinstall the driver using the ahci driver and all should be good. also try not to use a USB keyboard as the usb drivers are not that stable. Hope this helps.
You need the installation driver software that should comes with it. If you dont have it download from the internet according the brand of your camera.
from what i know you need to have the postscript driver to create custom size docs. When you printing open your printer driver and choose custom paper size:) try the hp website and download the latest driver from their website and tell those punks to give you admin rights:)
