The button next to the .?123 in the right corner (see image attached) that looks like an icon of the keyboard itself is actually exactly for this issue. Press and hold this button and two options appear- undock and split. Undock will pull the keyboard halfway up the screen for this exact purpose, split will cut the keyboard in half like an ergonomic keyboard. For people who text frequently and find themselves typing with their ipad in their hands; this is a friendly option! Naturally thumb texters have split the qwerty keyboard mentally and will find this a very convenient option when needing to type with only their thumbs. Your ipad holds many tricks and bad a** features you may not realize even after years of ownership. I highly recommend "tips and tricks" guides in the App Store to find all the fun included features!!!
Follow Step 1 and 2 only.
Note: If you bought the wifi-only iPad then it won't have a sim card slot, if you bought the wifi + cellular version then it should have a sim card slot on the left-hand side towards the top
You can either delete them from itunes when you plug in your ipad click
on the devices and select your ipad then under the tab app you can then
choose the apps you want to be on your ipad. Or on your ipad itself
press your finger onto the any of the apps until they start shaking on
screen the ones you can delete have an"x" in the top left hand corner of
their icon, you then click on the "x" and it will then ask "Delete app,
Deleting "app"will also delete all of its data" then select delete or
cancel. Once you have deleted the apps you then press the home key to
