I have not used it for about 2 years, I've found it in my draw and charged it up (the light came on). I flicked the on switch and the light does not come on and the music does not play? Its the same music that used to be on there and it definitely used to play!
Perhaps you thought you were hanging the battery, but the battery already died. So to won't give any power. Try to switch it on while charging and then unplug it. When it switches on, you know the switch is still working. When it dies as soon as you unplug it, your battery must be replaced. (or buy a new MP3 player)
