Car has been shaking a bit lately while idling and while driving. Has gotten slightly worse last couple days and the service engine light came on today while driving down the road. It flashed while I was driving, but when I stopped at a stop light it went off. When I accelerated again it began flashing again. Automatic Transmission 140k miles
I'm running into this issue with a 2008 nissan versa hatchback with a manual trans. I changed spark plugs and coils, check all vacuum lines changed intake manifold plenum gasket, Throttle body gasket, and valve cover gaskets. After it was all changed out no light. Drove 10 miles or so and light came back on. Check the compression. I'm gonna do that tomorrow bexcuse versa's I'm learning are known for this issue. Engine replacement may be the fix
P0303 ignition misfire on cylinder #3.
1.Fuel injectors, related wiring, sensors, computer issues
You will have diagnose each element until you find root cause.
Possible Causes:
2. Running out of gas, or poor fuel quality
3. Evaporative emissions system (EVAP) concerns: fuel vapors leaking into engine
4. Incorrect Fuel Pressure
5. EGR system concerns: leaking EGR valve or restricted ports
6.Base engine concerns: low compression, valve train problems and timing issues
7. Ignition system concerns including, but not limited to:
Faulty spark plugs
Faulty coil or related wiring
Ignition module or related wiring issues
Ignition related sensor faults or wiring issues
And it could be more than one element faulting out.
