If the power button is under the screen you can check easily. You will be able to see little slots. They make tools that will help you open them. Once you open it,it should be there

SOURCE: power jack needs replacing aspire 5050 model zr3 laptop
Hi I will help you. Under the screen and above the keyboard is the power button panel. take a small flat tip screwdriver and carefully use it to pry up one side of the power button panel. you may even need to pry up on the part of the panel that covers the hinges. Once it start to release, grab the panel and kind of wigggle it back and forth, while lifting it. it should start to release all the way. Once removed, the top of the keyboard is exposed, remove the keyboard being careful of the short ribbon cable connector underneath the keyboard.
once keyboard and panel are removed, you'll need to remove the screen via the screws on the hinges. make sure to disconnect ANY of the cables to the screen (usually video cable and wireless cables. And disconnect one small ribbon cable that looks like it comes from the touchpad mouse.
Now check where you removed the keyboard, you should see several sscrews that you need to remove.
At this point, if all the screws are removed, you should be able to disassemble thelower chassis of the laptop. Be very careful not to break anything. You will need to also remove several screws in order to get the motherboard out of the laptop.
I will give you the web link of where I buy ALL my power jacks for my repair shop. A guy named Gary Shaftsall runs DC PowerJacks, and is a great guy to do business with, not to mention he sells the jacks @ wholesale price.
His website address is:
http://dcpowerjacks.net/catalog/index.php
I urge you to be soooo careful in putting it all back to gether, I would hate to see you put a long screw into a shallow hole. this could result in a MAJOR short of the motherboard. Just keep track where all screws go and how the parts go together.
Hope this helps, please rate my solution.

SOURCE: Hi, I have an Acer Aspire 5535 with password in the bios
Unfortunately, if he put a sysetm BIOS password and doesn't remember it, you need to contact Acer's website.
You can have a electronics technician jumper all electrical current to wipe out the BIOS password, but contact acer first to make sure that there is not another method.

SOURCE: Need Instructions on How to Replace ACER Aspire 6920 Laptop LCD
To do this you are going to need the service manual for your model laptop. In the service manual it will tell you how to completely disassemble the laptop. It will show you step by step and with photos.
Now I searched for a service manual for this model. I found one that is free, but will require you to participate in some free offers. I also found one that will cost 7.95 euro's (something like $12.00), but you will be able to download it immediately. You can try searching some search engines to find one for yourself, just try searching "Acer Aspire 6920 Service Manual", you may have better luck. Either way I put the links below if you were interested in what I mentioned. Good luck with your project.

I fail to see any physical differences. They share the same motherboards and other components.
