I have a 55 I Phillips Smart Tv(model # 55pfL4909/F7) .The picture seems too big for screen.Have had it several months and it was fine. Ex.. Watching a fooscore/hockey game, and you can't see the score/ time left. On the news, part of the bar on the bottom is off the screen. Have been through the settings for TV and cable. Can anyone help. Thanks Jenny

hi,
question how did you connect your flat TV?
if you are conected by the HDMI port you to check your resolution in your config, probably you have to decrease th resolution to 480 P or 480 I to have the totality of the screen.
the format 1080I or 1080P is for DVD player or HD decoder.

if you are connected by component cable, verify in your config menu if you can change the resolution format to 480 P or I

Try changing the "aspect raio" or "view mode" for the TV. It seems like you are in a panoramic mode

You need to go into the TV menu and change the settings for the display! Press the Menu button and adjust the Picture! It's probably set to automatic and not reading them correctly.
