I need to program my dishnetwork remote model 6.0 ir/uhf pro to the tv. Also, I have hooked up a gamecube system to it, but cannot get the game system to come up on the tv screen. I am hoping the remote...

We would be happy to help with those two issues. First let's address your DISH Network remote to your Emerson TV. To check that the code works try severalfunctions on the remote to make sure it's the best code to use with your TV. Rememberthat some codes may not be compatible with your equipment. If this is the case, try the other codes listed for that device until you find one that iscompatible with your equipment. Remember to put your remote back into SAT mode once you're done.

Once you have your DISH Network remote programmed to your TV getting the game system to come up on the TV should be a matter of getting your TV on the input you have it connected to. This can be done by pressing the "TV/Video" or "Input" button on the DISH remote when it is in TV mode. If you are still having trouble with getting the game system to come up on your TV, call the Emerson Customer Service Department at: 1-800-256-2487.

We hope that this information gets you up and running. Thank you for being a valued DISH Network customer!

Programme remote to work with sony tv

To program your DISH Network remote to your Sony TV you will simply- press and hold the TV Mode button until all the other mode button back lights illuminate, then release.

-Now while the TV mode button is blinking please enter in the remote code 500 which is the remote code for your Sony TV after entering 500 then press the pound (#) key.

-After pressing the # key on the DISH Network remote, the TV mode button should blink 3 times and then turn off completely. This will mean the programming of the DISH remote to your TV has been completed successfully. While still in TV mode try any of the functions on the remote, such as turning the volume up or down on your TV or attempting to press the power button.

-The DISH Network remote should now be programmed to control your TV.

-If the remote code 500 doesn't program the DISH Network remote successfully you can also try each of the following using the same procedures, 000, 590, 640, 502, 002, or 567.

I hope this resolved the issue for you! Please feel free to contact us if you need any additional assistance.

Are your under cabinet mounted TV's Dish network compatable? If so what is the code for configuring the Dish remtoe to access the TV. It is not necessary that the remote control the DVD area.

We would be happy to help you with getting your DISH Networkremote to control your Venturer TV. We currently do not have any codes for the brand Venturer so we would need to perform a power scan. A power scan will scan your DISH remote for any codes that will work with your TV. Here are the steps for a power scan:

Step 1:
Press and hold the TV mode button until all mode button back lights illuminate, then release.

Step 2:
Press and release the Power button.

Step 3:
Press the Up button once a second while pointing the remote at the desiredequipment. If the code for the equipment comes up, the equipment will poweroff.

Step 4:
Press the pound (#) button. If the code entered is valid for the remote, themode light flashes three times.

After doing the power scan please remember to put the remote back into SATmode. Thanks so much for being a valued DISH Network customer!

Dish Network "No Signal" Message on Screen..Standby Mode

austinbrooke,

I saw your post and I'm wondering if you are still having problems getting a picture on your TV. Is it TV 1 or TV 2? What type TV is connected? If it's a HD TV, you will need to go through your input or source list on the TV to find your picture on TV 1. TV 2 is generally on either channel 60 or 73. I hope this helps.
