U99 error problem. how can i fix it?

Using all instructions from the manual; holding power button down; unplugging and repeating the above process.

After that if the machine has settled down, restore factory settings from setup. Use a METICULOUSLY clean approved disc and hope for the best!

If the device is not functioning properly or to clear memory, reset it.

1. On the operator panel, press the button. (The display will go blank.)

Note: It may be necessary to unplug the power cord if pressing the ON button does not shut off the printer.

Follow the steps below....

1. Power down the air conditioner using the "power" button on the front
panel.
2. Unplug the air conditioner from the wall socket.
3. Hold the front panel "power" button down and plug the air
conditioner in. Continue to hold the power button down as the machine
goes through a brief test sequence (fan & compressor each come on
briefly, etc). There is a "beep" sound at the end of the test sequence,
and the machine will be off. At this point, you can release the power
button.
4. Unplug the air conditioner.
5. Plug the air conditioner back in.
6. Congratulations! You should now be able to operate the air
conditioner normally for another 720 hours, but only if you followed
the instructions above EXACTLY.

I am getting a U99 error code. The only function
The "U99" error code signifies a "general communications failure."
It is not associated with one specific problem.
It can be related to the version of firmware your DVD recorder is currently using and it has been associated with the TV Guide on screen guide.

If your unit displays U99, turn the power off-unplug the
unit for 5 minutes, and reconnect the power.

If U99 reoccurs, please contact the Global Service Center Network for assistance.

Displayed when communication error has occurred between Main Microprocessor and Timer Microprocessor.Hold down [POWER] until unit powers off. Unplug AC power cord for five minutes then reconnect. If issue still exist have unit service.

I had the same problem and took Guru NinaE advice....1. Unplug power cord from back of printer while it is on. 2. Wait for 60 seconds after it is in sleep mode. 3. Press and hold "Print Photos" and "Red Eye Removal" at the same time and while holding the two buttons down, plug in the power cord into the back of the printer. 4. The printer display should go blank or Reset might show up on the display. When this happens, touch the ON button and the printer will reset itself.

The error code e1 is clean filter reminder clear it this way only...

A U99 error code signifies a general communications failure and is not associated with any specific problem. It could even be related to the firmware version of your DVD recorder.

Errors F03 et error U99
After months of U99 errors, I was able to fix my unit by reinitializing the defaults while using a CD-R with a firmware fix downloaded from the internet. Power the unit down, press Skip/Rev + Time Slip + Open/Close for 5 seconds. The CDR should be in the disc drive as you do this.

Panasonic DMR-ES40V Self Check displays Code F60 then a blinking Clock then displays Code F04 I don't know that the codes mean.or how to do I Fix the Problems? I have already tried removing plug. wait minute then plug in again when the self check starts Held down the power button until i got the blinking clock. if i then hit the DVD Eject/open button the Display showed HELLO but nothing is working. I Pulled plug when restared up again when I got the blinking clock let blink but the display went to code F04 within a minute. I could never get a image to display on the tv screen to use setup.
