Carrier infinity control SYSTXCCUID01-B sensor communication erro

Carrier infinity control SYSTXCCUID01-B is showing a new outside sensor communication error once every day, for the last 3 days. Problem won't Dismiss. System is only one year old, and used very sparingly.

I found the black outside temperature sensor. I unplugged it from the circuit board, and the yellow LED on the board began flashing the correct fault code, "53". I took an OHM reading on the sensor, and got a 70K ohm reading. I plugged the sensor back into the board and the flashing led ceased. I now have a solid yellow led. I would feel better if I had a solid Green led showing, but all I have is a solid Yellow led showing. IS IT POSSIBLE THAT THE SENSOR IS NO GOOD?

There should be a little black sensor bulb outside either on the unit normally under the electrical panel or inside it. It sound like the wire has come off or been disconected. It needs that on to properly run. Your control is trying to communicate with the outdoor unit and can not.

Wish it were that easy - my NEW Carrier Infinity has had this problem for over a month and no one from Carrier or Sears seems to know what to do or how to solve thew problem. I can't even get a technician to come out again. At first simply shutting the system down for an hour would work now there is no way to over-ride the error message and we are roasting! Do you know any one at Carrier that really cares about this problem? Thanks

Can I replace my broken Carrier thermostat control #SYSTXCCUID01-A with a Bryant Evolution Thermostat Control Model # SYSTXBBUID01-A?

The answer is yes. Chances are that the tstat you have now just hasn’t been setup properly. Don’t want to get the new tstat and have the same issue but I suppose you could try!

The best information you could get is from Carrier. Here's their website:

There is a toll free number to call 1-800-Carrier (1-800-227-7437)

Zone control not working

These are both power open and closed. Yellow and green should be constant on the leds. C&D is your 24 volts for the controls. If you got power going in but nothing coming out of the board it is bad. If you got 24 going to the damper but damper not responding obviously it's bad. Usually communication is DC voltage, likely 12 or 13 DC at A&B. Good Luck!!

Make sure all wires are hooked correctly ABCD should match. The Kill all power try again. When Infinity control is hooked up correctly it by passes all dip switch so that it can communicate with the tsta furnace and outsid unit. Rus

System Malfunction, No communication with outside unit

I work on Carrier Infiity systems. The outside board has a Model plug on it. This tells the system what size unit it is. They do go bad. You can reset your self by turning the power off to the Air Handler. These system have 10 year warranty and if you still have a problem have the replace the outside control board and model plug. Also you can contact Carrier on the their website and get answers. You may need to talk to a service rep in your area. Carrier is good about their Tech support. You should have to pay for a service call if you your problem continues. Sometimes power surges or stoem cause these problems but not often Rusty

I have a Carrier infinity model 38tdb037-3. The outside unit will not come on. the control board on the outside unit shows an amber led on status 2.it is a steady constant flash.the error is an apparent...

Have you eliminated the possibility of a high or low pressure error. Sounds to me like it's off on safety. Should have troubleshooting the flash right on the panel. Test your pressure switches for continuity.

Carrier Infinity Control Thermostat SYSTXCCUID01-B

Your old stat is wired for a traditional thermostat and not a communication stat like the new infinity you have. There is a module plug on the furnace board that will need to be connected to the new thermostat for it to work. The wires that are wired now are from a terminal strip inside the furnace. Please contact your local Carrier dealer. They may be able to get that harness for you
