I have an AEG induction hob which is 10m old. There has appeared a scorch mark in it that looks like it's from a pan. There is no burn or residue to clean off but it looks like the glass is damaged. Has anyone had this before and shall I claim on warranty or will they say it's user error? Not sure how it happened perhaps too hot?

On my induction hob, 2 discs on the right side stopped working at the same time, I put the pan on and it shows as if it hadn't been detected, the same pan works on the remaining 2 discs on the left

B) https://hobguide.com/induction-hob-not-working-on-one-side/

You are advised to not try to get into the electronics of the induction hob. Such is dangerous. The unit uses 3 phase electricity, something unlikely to be addressed by DIY activity if you want to be safe. Check your warranty. I assume this is not a matter of pans of the wrong material or size being deployed. This well may require a technician to sort out. The brand/model has not been identified so I cannot direct you to further resources. Your user manual surely provides a company name where you might seek some customer support.

Does anyone know more about the error codes F5 / F6 on a Whirlpool/Ikea induction hob Type: PLEAC, Model: 80123766 approx. 7 years old?

Call a Wirlpool dealer and give them the code. They will tell you what the problem is. I think F5 or F6 is the control panel. The last time I went to replace one I was better off purchasing a new stove.

I have a prima induction single hob and haven't got a clue how to use it , haven't got the manual , help please

You need to have pots and pans that are verified for induction cook tops. Ordinary pans will not work. Once you do that it works like any other burner only you can control the temperature precisely. You can melt chocolate without burning it as well as deep frying foods without ruining the oil from excessive temperature. Try looking for the manual from the manufacturer's web site.
