2001 camry seat only goes back and forth about an inch. Just started doing this. I don't see anything blocking it.

Don't see anything blocking it. Electric motor just stops after about an inch of travel. Tried disconnecting to see if it would reset. Didn't do anything.

My PRNDL don't work, loose shift indicator won't go into gear. Plenty of transmission fluid, no obvious wear or breakage, what do I do now?

When you turn the key to the ON position are there any instrument lights on the dash? Does the radio work? If not, dead battery.

Power seat moves up and down but not back and forth

If you do not always work on your own vehicles or have the
factory manuals to follow trouble charts, you won't be able to
do a thing with your seat problem

You already know that

I personally buy every manual including wiring diagrams
for all my vehicles, as soon as I purchase them

I have done this for almost 50 years, so I'm not normal

I would go to a wiring diagram, knowing no more than you,
& at least start checking seat switches,of coarse given my
electrical skills

After that, you need to go to workshop manuals to disable the
air bag system, so you don't get hurt etc & then remove the seat,
to continue on

I would guess your off to a repair shop, or you just live with the issue

Have 1998 toyota camry LE 3.0 5 cylinder. Has been running rough for about 2 weeks. Check engine light came on. Test said spack issue on cylinder 5, Had this problem once and was coil pack. could it be the...

A fuel filter would not have an effect on one cylinder
& you know how long it was in the car
It could be there 3 to 5 years & be just fine

Don't assume that a code last time that pointed you to a bad
coil will happen that way again.

Codes don't really tell you to change anything
You could have a code for #5 & walk a new coil for 4 cyl's
until you get to # 6 now you found the bad one.

You have several coil packs that feed more than one
plug, you have more to consider

I approach this the way I am, as you most likely
can not test anything, because you lack the proper
equipment ,so you have to do things the hard or longer
way of trial & error. Just don't throw money & parts at
it in doing so

Have a 2001 camry & the clock & lighter went out. Sounds like a fuse but I don't know where the fuse block is or what the fuse number is or if the problem is even related. ...

Here's a couple of lifts from the toyota forum:-

1) I think the coin box is the one to the left of the steering wheel. Squeeze the sides after opening it if I remember correctly. Should be others under the hood.

2) It was behind the coin box. I found the fuse for the radio, clock and replaced it and all is well.

Where is the fuse box for 1996 toyota camry? There are several fuse boxes. one is on the lower left side of the stearing wheel (by where you pop the hood) and the other two are under the hood, on the drivers side by the battery.

Most cars have a fuse diagram on the inside of the fuse box cover.

To whom it may concern, I'm struggling to install

The Tethers are on the rear deck at the top

You have to pull the seat belts out a way as
you said & then when you get them through
or around the seat, however they go,you snap
back & forth till they lock. The same thing
you do while in the drivers seat with your seat belt.

When done the child seat is kind of sloppy
in my opinion. Not really secured down tight

I would suggest you get help from an experienced
person that has kids & those seats to install

I just changed front brake pads & rotors on my 2006 Chev HHR. I used a large c-clamp to gently push the piston back into the caliper. No problems at all until I tested the brakes. Now the pedal goes...

You have to bleed the entire system, all 4 corners,
with the engine running

There is NO pumping up to do

You don't pump when driving do you?
That does absolutely nothing

Without the engine on you have no brakes
& it feels harder.

The question is --- I didn't hear you say you opened
the system up,but you had brakes & now you don't

So you put the problem in there

Got anything to add to what you did?
