Contrary to the owner's manual, my Aircare (Valiant) Humidifier HD1409 appears to have four (4) fan settings: 1, 2, 3, and "A". Can anyone tell me what "A" setting does?

From what you've described, it seems that the "A" setting may be a special or additional mode of operation. It could be an "Auto" or "Adaptive" setting that adjusts the fan speed based on the humidity level in the room, or it could be a specific function designed for a certain type of room. I recommend checking the owner's manual or contacting the manufacturer directly to find out more information about the specific function of the "A" setting on your Aircare (Valiant) Humidifier HD1409.

My Haier DE45EAL is difficult to adjust the Humidity How do I do it?

The arrow down button lowers the humidity level to what you want to extract and maintain. The higher settings remove little to know humidity and maintains a higher humidity level.

If you're trying to extract a lot of humidity/condensation, lower it to 35%.

Hope this helped you & thanks for choosing FixYa

It comes on and off very often is that normal, sometimes it comes on for 1 sec and goes off.

There is probably nothing wrong.
When the device senses that it is too humid in the room, it turns on. Due to a slight error in its humidity measuring system, it switches on, then it realizes that it isn't humid enough to be on, and turns back off.
I have had several and have heard other stories of similar items behaving in this way.
Or, it is perhaps that the adjustment the machine wants to make in the humidity level is low enough that it only needs to be on for a second.
Nonetheless, check to make sure everything is working properly.

Is this a low temp model, as it is not dehimidifiying but fan is running

The model you have was made by Fedders for Maytag. The fan runs as a recirculating fan, to continually sense when the humidity level rises, above what have the unit set on. Here in, may be the problem. If you have the humidity level set higher than 50%, that's pretty high and the unit want remove much if anything. It will just continue to maintain that level. Keep in mind, the unit's humidity level must be set LOW, for the compressor to kick on and start removing humidity. By low, I mean 35% or minimum, if your unit does not have an LCD display.

I must caution you, that there is associate on this website that would tell you, that the level should be set on Maximum. Believe me, that simply is not the case. That is, unless you want your home to be hot and humid.

Hope this helps you to troubleshoot and solve the problem.

My kenmore model 580 53701300 gets electricity, but will not turn on. The filter seems clean and what's behind it looks clean, too.

I'm assuming the that you determined the unit is getting power, because the lights on the dehumidifier light up, when you turn Master ON/OFF Switch ON.

If that's the case, it may simply be that the humidity level you have it set for is equal to or higher than the humidity level in the house. In which case, lower the humidity level to it's lowest setting to see if the unit turns on then. Also, check the water collection bucket, making sure it's installed properly and is making good contact with the safety trigger.

Hope this helped you to troubleshoot and solve the problem. Please let me know. Thanks.

New unit, try using in basement. nothing happen, should humidity settings be high or low? Dose humidity level be high? In the bucket whats the plastic cup about? do something alow water to enter bucket?

If you trying to remove humidity, the setting or percentage of humidity to you want to remove should be set low. it's actually the humidity that will be left in the air. In the Hot Summer months, you want lower humidity, as opposed to the Winter months, when you want higher humidity.

"Plastic cup inside the bucket" - that's got me stumped. But, I suspect, it may be a float valve to turn the unit off, once the bucket reaches the full level. The water enters the bucket through a drain tube or hole from inside the dehumidifier, above the bucket.

By best advice, since this is a new unit, that you recently purchased, is read the Owners Manual/User Guide and become thoroughly familiar with the proper operation of your Dehumidifier, as well as how to properly maintain it. As, they aren't maintenance free.

HOW DO I SET THE TIMER FOR MOTION SENSOR LIGHT SWITCH

Straight from the manual: (As you are facing the switch, the light level adjustment is on the upper left. The time selection is on the lower left.

1. With power restored and wallplate removed, use your finger or a small screwdriver to adjust the light sensitivity and time settings on the device as follows:
Light Level Adjustment:• Turn the control towards the "+" sign. Lights will turn ON in lighter conditions.• Turn the control towards the "-" sign. Lights will turn ON in less lighting conditions.
Time Selection:• Adjust the time selector to the desired length of time the lights are to remain ON. Lights will remain ON from15 seconds to 15 minutes after the room is vacated.
• Turn the control towards the "+" sign. Lights will remain ON up to 15 minutes.
• Turn the control towards the "-" sign. Lights will remain ON up to 15 seconds.
2. Test that the light level and time selection are as desired. If not, repeat adjustments until satisfied.

Dehumidifier only runs for a few minutes then turns off. Model# AHG30

there is a knob on the machine that sets the level of humidity. it sounds like you need to adjust it to remove more humidity from the air before it shuts down.

How do i adjust the headlight beam on my Subaru Forester X MY06 Model

on each headlamp assembly, there will be either one or two plastic nuts that you can turn.

If you only have one nut on each, that will adjust the vertical aim of the headlights.

If you have two nuts on each, one will adjust the vertical and the other will adjust the horizontal.

Park your car on a level ground 30 feet from a wall and measure the height from the ground to the bulb and mark on a wall (do this for highs beams and low beams if the bulbs are separate, if highs and lows are the same bulb, only do it for the lows)

If the headlights read VOR, then aim the brightest part or cutoff part just below the mark on the wall. If it says VOL or nothing, aim them 2 inches below the mark on the wall.
