Can the on/off switch be replaced? Ours broke off the back of the unit. This is an iHeater 1500.

Unplug the unit, Take out the old switch (You may need to open up the unit to get behind the switch to remove) and bring it to a hardware store or similar to match up. They normally have 2 connectors. Easy to do. Good luck!

My iheater (iH1500) seems to be missing a fusable link located in the back center of the unit. Can I get one to replace it. The unit doesn't power up.

If you believe it is not powering up because of a blown or missing fusible link, you can simply BYPASS the fusible link with a (large) piece of wire, briefly turning the power on to test the unit. If the unit powers up with the bypass wire (and it does not blow the fuse or breaker to that outlet)... leave the bypass wire there!

Iheater 1500 I bought a replacement switch but failed to see how the install should be when I yanked out the old broken on. There are 4 section 2 white & 2 black wires that need connected. What order

It is relative easy, check the switch contacts, you actually have two switches in one. Put the white on one "switch" the black on the other. You can check it with an ohm meter or continuity tester.

I have a I heater that will not turn on. Last time it worked fine. What should I check ?

first check the outlet its plugged into to be sure there is actually power there, if not check your breaker box, it may have overloaded the circuit and popped the breaker. if all good there, check the unit for a fuse, which may be blown.

I followed the instructions to a T. I turned my iHeater on using the--O switch located on the back. I adjusted the desired room temperature to 74 degrees. I adjusted the room size to Large. The iHeater...

I would read the customer reviews on this product , looks like nearly 70% of consumers are less than happy with this unit.

1500 watts is the units peak output, and drops to around 600 as it warms up. My hair blower puts out more power.

1500 watts is LESS than the output of a small element on your stove top. The real measure of heat is not watts, its BTUs and btus from gas are much cheaper than they are from electricity.
