My new Samsung SM-T310 tablet screen flickers so much I cannot use it. is there a fix?

Don't worry, its not a PROBLEM nither with your phone nor OS. When the screen is on low brightness, browsing through web pages causes the screen to flicker.

Find out if the actual display or just the back lights are flickering first .
turn on a good flashlight lay it on the face of the display when lights go out if the picture remains then it is the back lights not the display
but either way i believe you will end up replacing the display (backlights included( and probably LEDs) ) i will look at availability and feasability of this, come back with item model number and year
