Style: French Door, with bottom Freezer. Water is accumulating under freezer door, cannot locate the source?

My husband: 1. Took ice maker out and looked for leaks - none. 2. Looked at water lines on back of refrigerator for holes - none. 3. Took filter out and put back in to make sure it was secure. The Leak appears to be very slow as we purchased the refrigerator in Aug2013 and only noticed the issue when the freezer seemed to be rubbing on something underneath the drawer. When I pulled the drawer completely back and looked with a flashlight there was a 2" sheet of ice there, this was Monday last week (1/5/15). I was able to remove it completely. Since then we have been keeping an eye and it appears water is dripping down to the well area under the freezer drawer. There have been no error codes from the system but we are sure this is not a good thing. Please assist.

Where is the ice maker fan for LG French Door Refrigerator?

Hello,

The ice maker fan is located in the freezer and is part of the Grille Assembly ( LG part Name) Which is the removable back panel in the freezer. If you have an error code on the display such as ER/IF the fan is not rotating due to failure or ice accumulation in the fan blade. If you have no error code and the ice maker is not producing ice 2 things to check are...1. On the bottom of the ice maker there is a Test Button. Press and hold the button and the ice maker should rotate, Dump ice cubes and refill with water. If the ice maker does not cycle replace the ice maker. 2. Check freezer temperature. Freezer Temperature must be below 15 degrees to make ice. Ideally freezer temp should be 0 Degrees. If you have warm temps in the freezer there may be a sealed system issue preventing proper cooling.

Hope this helps.

Where is ice-detecting sensor located in the bottom freezer refrigerator? No ice/water in door, only in freezer (Kenmore)?

On the side of the icemaker, there is a wire bale or arm that is pushed up by the accumulating ice that shuts off the icemaker.

Water under fridge sometimes ice

Defrost unit and work everything loose. Wipe off all water and let it sit over night. Plug in next morning and allow 24 hours for temps to be right.

My Samsung RF265ABWP French door refrigerator has suddenly stopped making ice. I hear the old familiar noise it used to make just before I heard the ice drop in the bucket, only no ice drops. It sounds...

Is it getting water? If not, Most likely water valve is faulty and not letting water through, or feed tube through back freezer wall to ice maker is frozen which would be caused by dripping valve. It's either the valve or the ice maker not sending voltage to valve.

LG french doors, bottom freezer. Water leak from

Make sure your ic maker is empty. On the bottom of the ice maker is a small button. Watch the plastic fill tube and hold the botton in. Let the ice maker cycle anmd see if the water over shhoots rne ice maker. If it does, trim 1/8 of an inch off of the tube with a raxor knife on an angle = / this should take care of your problem.
