Thank you for your inquiry, Sam Aghajan!

I see that your Frigidaire range has went through a self-cleaning and the door will not open. It sounds like a possible issue with the door latch or control panel. I understand that you have reset your range and performed a second self-clean. I would suggest holding down the cancel/clear button for five to ten seconds. This should help to unlatch the door. You can also perform a self-clean cycle and before the cycle starts clear it out and that should help to release the door. If that does not work I would recommend contacting a professional technician to come out and repair the latch. Good luck. -Matt

I have an older Roper by Whirlpool self cleaning oven. It does not have a door lock or timer. Do I just close the door and turn the oven to clean and it will indicate when the cycle is done?

Never ever use the features of a Self Cleaning Oven. We see the damage they do here on Fixya, and the worst is the door not unlocking, and the most expensive is when they fry the mainboard.

They all have a door interlock. If you were to open it when it was running, it would frizz your eyebrows!

I misplaced my manual and need to have instructions to use the self-cleaning feature.

First take out the broiler pan, insert and any aluminum foil. Remove any other tools or pans from the oven. Next clean any large deposits in the oven cavity with hot, soapy water and a cloth. Clean the oven frame, the area outside of the door gasket and the very front center of the oven bottom with soap and water. Once you are ready to start the Self-Clean cycle, press the Self-Clean touch pad. To change the length of the Self-Clean cycle, press the pad again, as needed. Press Start. If you want to have the Self-Clean delayed, press the Delay Start touch pad after the Door Loc message appears. Type in the start time with the keypad.

To stop this cycle, press Cancel. If the oven is hot, the door will remain locked.

HOW DO I GET RID OF F11 ERROR ON FRIGIDAIRE ELECTRIC RANGE MODEL ES305

Hey Kenneth, I understand that you are receiving an "F11" error message on your Frigidaire Electric Range. Before considering contacting a service provider, I would recommend resetting the range by turning off the power to the appliance for about five minutes. After the five minutes return power to the appliance, this should allow the appliance to return to working condition. At this time if you find the problem still persists, you may want to consider contacting a professional technician. The concern could be the control board. Hope this helps! -JK

How do you keep the door locked so you can use t self cleaning feature

Good Morning Friend,

I understand you want to know how to keep the door locked on your Frigidaire oven, model# FEB24S2AS, so you can use the self-clean feature. The "Door Locked" light will flash until the door locks when the self-clean cycle is in use. It glows constantly after the door locks. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

My oven wont shut off and gets very hot way past set temp what up with this.

Good Morning Friend,

I understand that your Frigidaire electric oven, model# es 200/300, will not shut off. I also see that it gets very hot, way past the set temperature. First, make sure you have not put it into the self-cleaning cycle. If it is not in the self-cleaning cycle, I suggest resetting your appliance, by shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Once power is restored, you will need to set the clock before starting any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your air conditioner status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

Started to self-clean, locked the door, etc. Had

Hi.

The appliance door is probably locked in consequence of the self cleaning cycle.

Unplug power cord, and allow the oven cooling down for few hours.

If the is still locked, then the high temperature generated in self cleaning cycle may have damaged the door latch, or the electronic control.

Parts must be tested to discover the fault.

Call Frigidaire at the number listed on the owners manual.

Regards.

I started my oven on ''clean'' -- how long should this take?

Whithout knowing the model number in general it takes several hours for the cleaning cycle. My oven takes approx. 4 hours to complete a good cleaning. On my own oven, you can set the timer for as long as you want. Do you have an owners manual? If not, you can find one here...........
