I forgot my Microsoft account email and password

You can go through a password reset process so that the password is a new one that you remember. Go to the Xbox.com website and sign in, then the link that says, "Can't access your account?" Select the "I forgot my password" button on the next screen and select next. Then enter your email and captcha code (to ensure you are not a robot). Once you select next on this screen, as long as you can access the accounts email address, a link and maybe even code should have been sent to it. Just follow the steps in the email and then on the site it gives you a link to and that's it, you have just reset your password. Congradualtions! If you can't sign in to an Xbox Live profile on your console, here are other ways to find your Microsoft account OR recover your password.

Although you can sign into Xbox LIVE without the need for your LIVE password, you cannot add Microsoft points or buy games without entering your LIVE account information.

All Xbox LIVE accounts are tied into your Microsoft Windows Live account. If you forgot your Windows Live email and password, you can reset your password, but not your email.

Since your email was used to register you to the LIVE network, you had to have used a legitimate email address when you signed up.

Enter your new password twice.

if the password for email that is associated with the xbox live account, simply call microsoft xbox, and answer your security question, if you set a security question, if not, simply answer all the account specific you input on the first day you create your gamer tag.. =)

As long as you have the original email used for the account, login to xbox live on your computer, provide email account, select "forgot password." Xbox Live will send a "reset password" email to that account.

Your password for Xbox Live is the password you have on the microsoft account, which normally is a "hotmail" account.

To reset your forgotten password (make a new password), you have to go to this website, https://account.live.com/ResetPassword.aspx , and write in your email adress, then follow the steps and you should be able to reset your password :)

go to microsoft xbox live account and say forgot password and acount and they will ask you for yoru secrit question and answer and then email you your account and password information, this is what i did to recover my sons, i went to xbox live windows live account, and with his gamer tag i was able to recover account, just tell microsoft your troubles and they will recover it, im sure that will help u,

Unfortunately you cant change the email address used to log into xbox live.
