Question about Planar PDP-42BK 42 in. Plasma HDTV
When I turn on my TV after not viewing for a while there are darkened diagonal lines from top right to bottom left. After warming up they get better in 3 mins and almost disappear in 30. The picture is not as clear as it used to be being 8 yrs old. It seems like its "wearing out". I don't want to throw it in the land fill if it can be fixed with a few capacitors or even a few hundred $ new board. I need a better one anyway with HDMI and current features but will keep this if it can be repaired. Happened to anyone else? Solutions?
