Hi, I have a new curvy 8763 sewing machine. A needle broke in it and I replaced it but since then the machine has been jamming each time I sew and this is making me so uncomfortable. Please help. Than

What exactly is the difficulty? Is it half flat backed or completely round? If you can give more info, I may be able to help. :-)

Consult your owner's manual. There is a handwheel release that, when loosened, will allow the bobbin to wind but stops the needlebar trying to stitch.

I'm sure you've done this, but I'll just throw this out there. Did you pull the bobbin thread through the groove that slants on the left side of the needle plate starting from the upper left corner of the bobbin cover?

insert the needle all the way up. if it is not a timing issue, try to lift the needle shaft

insert the needle all the way up or, lift the needle shaft and, if the problem persist's andjust the timing of the machine

It usually means that there's a problem with the thread, maybe the needle came unthreaded or it got tangled or it broke.

Please correct down position and remove the foot and switch off machine. Then set of the up position applique the needle. After machine On.

A Curvy isn't an Athena. I have a Curvy and it is a low-shank machine that can use a variety of snap-on feet.

read the user manual and if you do not get anything from the trouble shooting section take it back for a warranty check as something may have moved from the material jam

I be s 8763 was sewing beautifuly, took off pressure foot to make a buttonhole read the manual followed directions button holer kept gumming up with thread and the alarm kept going off, then got flustrated, put back on the sewing pressure foot now it is like the needle is out of line will not pick up bobbin, and is definately hitting something by the bobbin, will not sew
