I just dropped Fujifilm Finepix S4600 and everything works fine except for the screen?
Half of the screen is black and could not display anything. The other half of the screen works fine but there some lines and black spots. Can someone tells me what happened to the camera and how much I have to pay if I want to repair it? (is it worth to repair?)

The automatic white balance setting will try to compensate for the red tone in the sunset. You need to set WB to sunlight to get the full effect from the sunset or sunrise.
The problem is the in the ccd circuitry in the camera lens, the aperture "shutter" is not opening which is motor driven, It will need a camera technician to look at it, but probably not cost effective to repair, cheaper to replace.
Sounds like the CCD (main image sensor) is dead. It should be covered under warranty. It doesn't sound like there is anything you've done, or can do to rectify it. Get it in to a Fuji service center with your warranty/receipts.
After the basics (cleaning the lens, replacing the batteries, etc.), try dropping the camera on a carpeted area from about 2-3 feet. It worked for my Fuji A500 and 90% of the responders on the link.Everything on the web said it would cost ~$100 to fix.I was in the process of researching new cameras to buy and had nothing to lose by dropping it on the floor.
The error may be caused by debris in the zoom mechanism preventing it from working.Dropping the camera loosens the debris and voila!
