Question about Kenmore Dishwashers
Have tried alternating heated dry and normal wash also shutting breaker off
How many times does it blink before pausing and repeating? 7 times? (That's a common problem - means "water not heating" error.) In some dishwashers, instead of pressing Heated Dry, Normal Wash, Heated Dry, Normal wash, you press the 3 left-most keys in the following order: 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3. That will start the diagnostic cycle and clear the error, but if you don't find and fix the cause, the problem will come back the next time you run the DW. But before I try to explain how to fix the root cause, I would need to know how many times the light is blinking.

SOURCE: Loud Buzzing Sound from Dishwasher
have you ever seen green led "Clean" light flashing? before or about the same time the buzzing sound started? and if so that would indicate that the control senses a fault in the temperature rise during the heating cycle and that the electronic control could be reset by initiating a service diagnostic cycle.(which is what you were trying to do) pls reread your manual there are times during that sequence that some buttons have to be pushed at the same time and within a certain amount of time..possible that your machine also has a bad timer which would give you a buzzing noise..if thats the case I would recommend replacing the cpu or control board..or the machin all together..The Kenmore Ultra Wash Quiet Guard name is sears but whirpool has the contract to produce all "kenmore products.hope that helps.

SOURCE: I have a Kenmore Elite ULTRA WASH Dishwasher
Hi
This issue appears due to stuck keys on control keypad or due to moisture/shorted connections on the keypad. Sometimes this appears when the door is not closed or door lock switch is failing. Turn off the power to dishwasher, unplug the power cable from outlet or shut off the breaker. Use a multimeter and make sure that the connection to door switch assembly are fine, also check the continuity of the door swiches (when closed). If continuity is present you would need to check the connections to the keypad. Try disconnecting the P1 connector(connects keypad to control board) and then reconnecting it, check if the problem is still present. Replace the keypad if the problem still appears. Please check the below pictures, they might help you--

Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.
