Sorry about that Jack. If you have good power coming in, just try and trace that - through switches & the control logic. If the power is making it to the heating element and it isn't heating... Not sure if the element is replaceable.

What does E1 Mean on a lifesmart infrared heater

E1 is an error code that may be displayed on a Lifesmart infrared heater. It typically indicates a problem with the heater's thermostat or temperature sensor.
If you see the E1 error code on your Lifesmart infrared heater, it is recommended that you try the following troubleshooting steps:
  1. Check the heater's power cord and ensure that it is securely plugged into a working outlet.
  2. Check the heater's thermostat and ensure that it is set to the correct temperature.
  3. Check the heater's air filter and ensure that it is clean and free of debris.
  4. Check the heater's temperature sensor and ensure that it is properly connected to the heater.
  5. If the above steps do not resolve the issue, it is recommended that you consult the heater's owner's manual or contact Lifesmart customer support for further assistance.
It is important to note that if the E1 error code persists, it is possible that the heater may be malfunctioning and may need to be repaired or replaced.

Life smart heater....does it have a reset button or something

Hello, Karen -

I have found several user manuals for Lifesmart heaters online and have looked through them.

None of the manuals I looked through mention reset buttons.

You have not stated the model number for your Lifesmart heater. If you choose Comment and type the model number in the Comment box, perhaps I can find the right manual for your heater and give you the link to download a copy of the manual.

Is your problem that while using your heater is suddenly turns off? If so . . . following is the information I found in the Lifesmart heater manuals (several different models:
(Quote)
Overheat Safety Feature
This heater is equipped with an overheat safety feature. When the internal components of the heater reach
a certain temperature that could cause overheating or possible ?re, the heater will automatically shut of

(End quote)

If that is the case with your heater, you will need to let it cool down before restarting it. You will need to make sure the Power button is turned to Off and then unplug the heater to allow it to cool down.

If you indicate the model of your heater, I will try to find the right user manual for you to download.

Best wishes.

E3 error on LIfesmart heater

Even after replacing thermostat and motherboard offered from company, my heater would trigger e3 error code and shut off. After several (maybe 100!) different attempts to plug in and operate, here is what worked for me!
Depress the power button on the heater while plugging in to wall circuit. Continuously depress power button. It will run through a test cycle and attempt to start. Keep depressing the power button as the heater tries to start, then shuts down with e3 error. While the power button is still depressed, unplug the unit from the wall. When I plug back in the wall the E3 error is gone. Good luck
