Stop beeping hour?

According to the directions: Press B - bottom left button,to go into Alarm Mode. Press D - upper right button - to activate the alarm and press again to activate the Chime, which shows on bottom left as a bell. To activate these press D. To DEACTIVATE them press D again. Press B 3 times to return to Time Telling Mode. It took a few tries, but D and B are the keys to stopping that annoying chime!

Removing hourly chime from a sportek watch

I know it's been a year since this question was asked, but I was trying to find the answer today and finally figured it out. I thought I would answer for someone else.

I have a sportek SP1020ZEL. Pressing mode first and then alarm did not work for me. Pressing mode first on my watch only put it into the stopwatch mode, and then pressing the alarm button is for reseting the stopwatch. So I tried it the other way around, and it worked.

First, press and HOLD the alarm button (bottom right button) and then the mode button (bottom left button). My sportek doesn't show a little bell symbol, but I noticed that with one press all the days of the week showed and when I pressed again all the days disappeared. So I waited for the hour and found that when there is no days of the week visible the hourly chime is off. I don't think this works with all sportek watches but it is worth a try. (I did not try holding all the buttons for 5 seconds).

Umbro junior sports watch

Push and hold the reset button on the bottom right of the watch and then push the mode button on the bottom left. When you push the mode button, all the days of thge week should no longer be illuminated. This is the same to turn the beep on, only you need to see the days of the week on not off.

How to set an Armitron watch. Can't set the days correctly.

mcdevito75 here, The stem has 2 positions, Carefully slip a fingernail under the stem and lift, it may take a few trys to get used to it, in this first position you should be able to set the DATE very easily and Maybe the DAY of the wwek also, turn the stem 1 way to change the DATE and the other way For the DAY of the week., Let"s figure you can only set the DATE in this first position, First thig to do is set the DAY of the week, go thru the watches 24 hour cycle and set the DAY to 1 DAY before the DAY you need, now in that first position of the stem, set the DATE to 1 DATE before the DATE you need, now in the 2nd position we all know pull the stem out to set the time of day, go thru the 24 hour cycle to bring up the DAY of the week and DATE you need. Now your watch is set and will change on tome at around mid-nite.

How to turn off hourly alarm on Gap Sport watch?

Click reset button (lower right) - this shows you the alarm time as indicated by a large letter 'A' that appears in the display.

Keep holding the reset button and simultaneously press the mode (lower left) button.

This toggles the days of the week at the top of the display.

All days shaded in black means the hourly alarm is on.
All days clear means the hourly alarms is off.

Now, if I could just figure out how to choose the exact days the alarm can be set to ring ... it seems like it is possible.

Need instructions or a manual on how to stop beep mode on watch

To turn hourly beep on/off: Hold the RESET button (lower right) and press the MODE button (lower left). When the days of the week light up, the hourly beep is on; when the days of the week are off, the hourly beep is off.

To turn the alarm on/off: Hold the RESET button and press ST/STP (upper right). Alarm light will go on/off.

When I pull out the stem 1 notch I can only change the 1 to 31 date setting. When I pull out the stem to second notch this changes the hour and minute hands. I cannot figure out how to change the 1 to 24...

Try turning the stem the opposite direction. The last watch I had with that feature required a clockwise turn to advance the time or date and a counter clockwise turn to change the day of the week.
