Hi
To connect to a BT Hub, you must have the encryption key / code for that particular Hub. Unless it has been changed (as recommended by BT on receipt of the hub or later, then depending upon the model it will be on a sticker on the base of the hub, on a plastic part at the back of the hub that can be pulled upwards and out of its slot in order to read it.
