Your TV must have a set of Audio Out connections. Connect them to the Aux In on the back of the RTD325W. Then toggle the Line-In/Aux button on the remote until display reads Aux In. System should work.

You can use either the multi pin connector cable, or plug the white, yellow and red cables to the TV set at the DVD player input or "Video 1" and the the audio output of the TV Another red and white set of RCA cables into the audio input of the home theater. This way the TV can play through the home theater system when you are watching cable or over the air.
If you do not want to hear the TV audio, you should go to the audio properties and select "external speaker system" but if you do this the home theater system must be on to hear any audio from the set until you set it back to the TV speakers through the TV's setup menus again.
