You need to recalibrate the touchscreen. Please see this link on how to do it depending on your GPS model. If you are unable to recalibrate it, then you will need to have the touchscreen replaced.

This is controlled by the thermostat. You will need to look into a replacement.

Before any parts are replaced in the HVAC system, try the following procedure to recalibrate the system. Turn all switches and controls to OFF or fully CCW positions, then disconnect the battery for about 2 minutes. Reconnect the battery and turn the ignition to the ON position (don't need to start engine) and don't touch any of the HVAC controls for about 2 minutes. After that try the system again and see if it works correctly, if not, you will need to have a mechanic diagnose it.

had the same problem with my mothers 1997 chrysler town and county i replaced the body control module had to reprogram and recalibrate it to the van after i installed the module
