There are several HDTV Calibration discs available on amazon or other locations. They will walk you through calibrating all the available levels on your television. Or you can contact any number of companies that will come out and calibrate for you, however they can be quite expensive. It really depends on how hands on you want to be.

It will most likely go away when you fix the board. I suspect there is a logic system in there looking for that port and is not finding it.

LG 60PN6500 plasma tv power surged. has no picture and i think no sound. tv wont turn on but stand by light illuminates but then shuts off. in a cycle fashion. cant find my multi-meter to check fuses

Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

Lg 60pn6500 the red light is on but the tv won't come on

Could be an open internal fuse or power supply failure. The red light merely indicates power is getting to the TV.

It might not be available from the service provider you use for cable, or the channel it's self.

Weird coloring on lg tv screen

A little more detail would help. I have 2 LG's a LED and Plasma and have calibrated them myself with disneys WOW blu Ray Disc.
If you could describe it I could maybe help you find out if maybe your panel is bad or your color saturation is way off.
