Wont read SIM card

it wont read my sim card! it wont read my sim card!

i put my sim card in but it says that i dont have one in and there is a hardware error i put my sim card in but it says that i dont have one in and there is a hardware error

my sim card wont work either but it works in other phones. tmobile said i would have to buy a new phone. my plan expires in a couple months so i can buy a new phone and sign a new 2 year contract which there is no F#@*ing way i am doing that, or i can get another phone which they said the cheapest is $89 and the only "special" feature it has is speaker phone. i know they rig it that way so we have to buy new phones and sign new contracts. bastards.

I just purchased a sidekick off of ebay and It wont read my sim card and I sometimes get an errormsg that there is hardware issues!!! Whats up with that??
