SOURCE: Maytag Frig. Model MSD2651HEQ not working

Your start relay for the compressor is probably the problem. If ordered, you will most likely receive the relay and overload protector. Replace them both.

SOURCE: Sub-zero 550 series

I had this problem in the fridge portion last year and replaced the switch at the top of the door. Problem solved. There should be two switches: one for the lights and one to turn off the compressor when the door is open. I don't remember which one was which. Try the link below for the part, but double check to make sure it's the right one. They have an 800 number to call as well. Good luck

SOURCE: the freezer side went a couple days ago and the frig side went the following day. what causes this or how can i fix it?

If there is no refrigeration effect at all call for service, if there is partial refrigeration remove the grille in the front below the doors and make sure the condenser coil is not fouled with dust, with the refrigerator running the fan in the back should be running as well.
If the coil is full of dust use a vacuum to clean it best you can, if a clogged coil is the culprit cleaning is "some" will provide results.
If the fan in back is not running when the refrigerator is running call for service.

SOURCE: Maytag refrigerator lights won't work

the bulbs may look good but try a new one or just try tighting them into the sockets tighter. this is a common problem . the rubber prevents the bulb from going in all the way .. silcone grease on the bulb base.. mm

How do you change the water filter on Maytag MF12568AES?

Check top right inside of frig. Filer is inside the housing; open door turn filter counter-clockwise, the housing should allow you to lower filter to change it out. Place new filter, turn clockwise, push back into place and close door.

Our frig ice cube door chute keeps slaming and the lights are going crazy on the push button board. model MFI2568AES SER 10967637JR

Your control board is bad. Unplug refrigerator and replace it, follow instructions on board to reprogram and you should be good. It's on the back outside of refrigerator under panel. Or, call a repairman to do it for 400.00 plus. Hope this helps,

What does it mean when lights on control panel keep flashing and ice dispenser flap keeps opening and closing?

Ours started the same thing today. Called the 800- Maytag service number. They said it is a "known quality issue" with the controller and scheduled maintenace call. If gone unfixed, the controller will probably eventually fail and the frig will quit working all together. From what the lady said, this will be a free fix even though it's passed the warranty period.<!-- from fixya rte -->

We recently moved and our Maytag French door ice maker was working fine when it was loaded on the moving truck, but when we plugged it back in it is no longer working at all. Any suggestions

after moving any frig / the fan underneath may have insulation in it or things bet bent causing the fan not to go . this would cause poor cooling and if freezer is not cold enough the ice maker would not work . ck the tempt in freezer / must be 15 deg or lower . and the fan could cause this problem also wiring on the bottom ..mm
