Immediate request for Bios password on Asus x54C how to find password

No time at all to press Alt/ F10. I need the Bios password for the X54C after hours of surfing for answers, still cannot get a straight word/answer to type in. Any help very appreciated.

If you disassemble the laptop and remove the cmos battery, wait a few minutes then replace and restart the password will be removed and start normally.

You may find the cmos battery in the memory compartment. Some hae 2 small spots of solder with 'clr cmos' printed there. Short carefully over these 2 spotsand it will clear the bios and let you in.

HOW TO LOCK ASUS X54C KEYBOARD
I would remove the ribbon cable from motherboard end i.e. Keyboards ribbon cable connector. then put back the Keyboard, meaning it's totally disabled (Not sure if Laptop will boot properly) UNLESS it's possible to do it via Device Manager and OR the Bios.
I'll try it for myself later.

Upgrading the Cpu of a ASUS X54C-BBK21
If you google this, you'll see other people have upgraded to i5/i7, if you currently have a Core series processor with the correct socket, this page on the Asus site only shows the X54C going as high as an i3 but apparently it is possible to upgrade the CPU on certain versions of the X54C.Check this link http://community.spiceworks.com/topic/433227-asus-x54c-bbk9-upgrade-cpu-to-i5-i7

If Lifeframe is installed, you can start it up by pressing the Fn-key + V

If nothing happens, press the Win-button, search for E-driver and install missing drivers/programs from there.
